The GENIUS Grill is a High Temperature Electric Grill that reaches a temperature of 800 °C. Many ovens or BBQ’s can reach temperatures between 250°C and 350°C. Although this is good enough to prepare steaks, higher temperatures will get you even better results. The meat will be cauterized within seconds, so the meat juices will remain preserved and your meat will have the juiciest taste ever!

The modern designed GENIUS Grill is easy to use. Just place the grill on the desired spot on your patio and plug in. Place the height-adjustable grill at the desired height level; e.g. the steaks at the top and vegetables in the middle. The dripping meat juices are then captured in the gravy dish at the bottom of the grill, so they can be used for gravy, sauces and side dishes.

Operation of the GENIUS Grill
The GENIUS Grill works on 220-240 volt, because only then you can reach those high temperatures. What is so great about this grill is that you place the grid so high that the meat is only an inch under the infrared beam and gets a ‘heat shock’. After 45 seconds you turn the steak and the other side will be cauterised as well. You can choose the cuisson (doneness) of the meat yourself. By letting the steak rest, letting it cook or simply cutting it straight away and enjoying the crispy crust and juicy pink flesh inside. For the best result, wait till the meat reaches room temperature or prepare the meat to be grilled sous-vide.
The grill comes with a removable grid. The housing is completely made of stainless steel, which makes it durable enough to last for years. The grid, together with the included sauce plates and handles, can be put in the dishwasher. To clean the (cooled) device, a damp cloth can be used.
